Hi!
I’m Josefine, a web and visual designer with a background in landscape architecture and a strong interest in UX/UI, brand identity and visual storytelling.

WHY DESIGN
Understanding how people think and putting myself in their shoes has always intrigued me. As a landscape architect, I analyze how people move, behave, and interact in physical spaces, and design accordingly. That same mindset naturally extends into the digital realm, where web and UX design become tools for creating thoughtful, human-centered experiences.

Alongside this, I have always had a strong interest in graphic and visual design, with a keen eye for detail and expression. I have actively sought opportunities to develop this side of my skill set, from taking a graphic design course at Berghs School of Communication to working on self-initiated projects. One example is founding the local cycling community go.cyclingclub, where I designed the logo and developed the visual identity across digital and print platforms.

Landscape architecture is a broad and multidisciplinary profession that spans concept development, visual design, hand sketching, client presentations, and close collaboration within cross-functional teams. Translating creative ideas into clear and tangible expressions, both visually and conceptually, has been a central part of my work and something I bring into every design process. Accessibility has always been a natural consideration, from inclusive physical environments to accessible and responsive digital experiences.

All of this led me to web and visual design, where I combine human-centered thinking with UX/UI as a foundation for creating structured, expressive, and accessible experiences. I am motivated by working across disciplines and crafting cohesive, meaningful solutions that balance usability with a strong visual identity.

ABOUT ME
I am a naturally creative, adventurous, and curious person with a lifelong passion for design and creating. Whether it was drawing, making photo albums with friends in high school, or decorating my apartment, I have always been drawn to aesthetics, storytelling, and the joy of shaping something from scratch. I grew up in Luleå, and over the years I have lived and studied in Skåne as well as spent two exciting years in Canada. Today, I am based in Stockholm with my partner and our Australian Shepherd, Lilo.

The outdoors has always been close to my heart. I have spent several years working in outdoor retail, including at Patagonia, a brand I deeply admire for its environmental values and courageous approach to business. When I am not designing, you will most likely find me outside, skiing, camping in our rooftop tent, or road cycling around Stockholm. I am also part of the local cycling community Friends with Bikes, where I contribute to content creation.

Being active, curious, and continuously learning is how I like to live, and it is also how I approach design.

FINALLY
I work at the intersection of web and visual design, where structure meets storytelling and visual expression. With a background in landscape architecture, I am comfortable moving between big-picture concepts and fine details, always driven by curiosity and a desire to keep learning.
