Hi!
I’m Josefine, a UX/UI designer in the making with a career as a landscape architect behind me. I am currently in my first year of a two-year UX design program at the Stockholm Technical Institute.

WHY UX/UI DESIGN
Understanding how people think and putting myself in their shoes has always intrigued me. As a landscape architect, I analyze people's behaviors in physical spaces and design accordingly. The same applies to UX, but in the digital realm. I’ve always had a great interest in visual design and have a keen eye for detail, and have seized every opportunity to develop and improve. For instance, I’ve taken a course in graphic design at Berghs SOC and have worked on my own projects, including starting a local cycling community, go.cyclingclub, where I designed our logo and created our visual identity.
The profession of landscape architecture involves many different areas—from concept development, hand sketching and visual design to client presentations and working with cross-functional teams. Having the know-how to effectively translate creative ideas into something tangible has been a crucial part of my job, and I’ve learned a great deal from it.
All of this combined has led me to UX/UI design. I hope to integrate all the parts I find interesting and exciting, while I believe and hope I can do a good job.
Me in Kittelfjäll!
ABOUT ME
I'm a naturally creative, adventurous, and curious person with a lifelong passion for design and creating. Whether it’s been drawing, making photo albums with my friends in high school or decorating my apartment, I’ve always been drawn to aesthetics, storytelling, and the joy of shaping something from scratch. I grew up in Luleå, but life has taken me on a bit of a journey – from years of studying in Skåne to two exciting years in Canada. These days, I live in Stockholm with my partner and also recently, our little aussie pup Lilo.
The outdoors has always been close to my heart, and I've spent years working in outdoor retail, including for Patagonia – a brand I admire deeply for its environmental values and bold approach to business. When I’m not designing, you’ll most likely find me outside – skiing, camping in our rooftop tent or road cycling around Stockholm. I'm part of a local cycling community called Friends with Bikes, where I lead group rides and are the captain our team for Vätternrundan.
Being active, curious, and constantly learning – that’s how I like to live, and it’s also how I approach design.
