Hi!
I’m Josefine, a designer with a background in landscape architecture and a strong interest in UX/UI, graphic design, brand identity and storytelling.

WHY DESIGN
Understanding how people think and putting myself in their shoes has always intrigued me. As a landscape architect, I analyze how people move, behave, and interact in physical spaces, and design accordingly. That same way of thinking naturally extends into the digital realm, where UX becomes a tool to create thoughtful, human-centered experiences.

Alongside this, I’ve always had a strong interest in graphic and visual design, with a keen eye for detail. I’ve actively sought opportunities to develop this side of my skill set – from taking a graphic design course at Berghs SOC to working on self-initiated projects. One example is starting a local cycling community, go.cyclingclub, where I designed the logo and developed the visual identity.

Landscape architecture is a broad and multidisciplinary profession, spanning concept development, visual design, hand sketching, client presentations, and close collaboration within cross-functional teams. Translating creative ideas into clear, tangible expressions – both visually and conceptually – has been a central part of my work and something I bring into every design process. Accessibility has always been a natural consideration in my design work, from inclusive physical environments to accessible digital experiences.

All of this led me to UX/UI design – not as a standalone discipline, but as a way to merge human-centered thinking with graphic design, visual storytelling, and structure. I’m motivated by working across disciplines and creating cohesive, meaningful experiences.

ABOUT ME
I'm a naturally creative, adventurous, and curious person with a lifelong passion for design and creating. Whether it’s been drawing, making photo albums with my friends in high school or decorating my apartment, I’ve always been drawn to aesthetics, storytelling, and the joy of shaping something from scratch. I grew up in Luleå, but life has taken me on a bit of a journey – from years of studying in Skåne to two exciting years in Canada. These days, I live in Stockholm with my partner and also recently, our little aussie pup Lilo.

The outdoors has always been close to my heart, and I've spent years working in outdoor retail, including for Patagonia – a brand I admire deeply for its environmental values and bold approach to business. When I’m not designing, you’ll most likely find me outside – skiing, camping in our rooftop tent or road cycling around Stockholm. I'm part of a local cycling community called Friends with bikes, where I’m a part of the content creation team.

Being active, curious, and constantly learning – that’s how I like to live, and it’s also how I approach design.

FINALLY
I work at the intersection of UX/UI and graphic design, where structure meets storytelling and visual expression. With a background in landscape architecture, I enjoy moving between concept and details – always curious and eager to keep learning.
